this could've been an ok album if oberst was left off of it.

as it is, i think the m. ward songs are the strongest, which makes me even more sad for the possible future of mmj.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but after finally giving this album a couple of listens, I absolutely LOVE it. Yes, Bright Eyes is definitely the weak link, but even that one "Ahead of the Curve" (I think that's the name of it) song of his is open qual.

M. Ward is the greatest man alive.
