And, I'm NOT going for reissues here, and no "greatest hits", only stuff with (mostly) unreleased stuff. So the Pavement reissues don't qualify (although with all that bonus stuff, they come damn close)

Shrimp Boat - Something Grand (box set)
Brinsley Schwarz - Cruel To Be Kind (live at the BBC)
Jim Ford - The Sounds of Our Time
Jim Ford - Point of No Return
The Birmingham Sound: The Soul of Neil Hemphill, Vol. 1

more to come, I'm sure...

EDIT:
And you all damn well knew that I would find a way to get Shrimp Boat into a list somewhere, right?

I'm not sure I'm familiar with these bands. Does anyone ever mention them here?

It's no different now - people trying to outdo ! each other in extremes. There are people who like X, and there are people who say X are wimps; they like Black Flag.

Actually, I've been wanting to hear more Pere Ubu. I like a lot of what I've heard so far, and a band that I was in used to cover "Final Solution". That one was fun as hell to just tear up on the guitar.

offa the top of my head:

Beat Happening: Crashing Through

All 5 albums, some singles and splits, plus some bonus tracks. and video. and substantial liners by lois maffeo. it's a pretty sweet and comprehensive collection.
