Hmm. Not sure I hear the Nirvana in JJ72. And that lead singer is a man.

I know that's the common wisdom but without visual proof, I'd say the jury is still out. JJ72 is on the Suede level of awful. Kingfish is being very kind with a 4. Anyone who would give them more than a 5 is not to be trusted on anything.

Radiohead - Kid A

I'm not sure you could be alive in 00' and not hear this record. I remember the Abercrombie and Fitch catalog even having a write up on it.

I also have to say I dreaded listening to this. It's not as bad as I remembered. However, I find it hard to believe that anyone likes the song Treefingers. And if you do, I'm pretty sure I don't want hangout with you. The best tracks are Optimistic and Everything in its Right Place but there's just too much boring electronic wankery on this to overcome the good stuff.

5/10

While I like Kid A more than you do, I probably agree more with your write-up than any other I'm going to read on that album this year. Definitely my least-favorite Radiohead album of the decade.

CHRIST.

I can't believe it's been 9 years since that came out.

One of my favorite records of the decade.
