I'm not the biggest fan of BurningAngel -- they're a little too precious, actually, & up on themselves -- but I'm less put off by her technique than her accoutrements. Remember a few months ago when all those Iranians took to the streets demanding real democracy and the world stood united with them? John McCain even said he’d arrange for WiFi equipped drones to fly across the country, keeping the protestors connected to Twitter and Facebook, or whatever Muslim equivalent they needed to organize. Whatever happened to those guys? Turns out, the Iranian government is executing and imprisoning a whole mess of ‘em, according to the world’s last remaining major media outlet with an attention span. Or rather, an attention span for actual, you know, news. Sure enough, our state-approved media remains riveted by reality TV bullshit, masturbating hypocrites, and philandering golfers, but quickly loses interest in the birth of democracy in a volatile region at war with our fair nation.
