If the board has never been alive and has always been terrible, and Hipinion has always been superior, why do you lurk there and post here? Not trying to start something, just curious.

Due to this board's massive failure of late, I've actually taken to lurking at Hipinion over morning coffee. It's more entertaining, even managing to be humorous occasionally. And yeah, more music talk.

Hipinion = great place to find new & older music, open minded music fans that are actually really stoked about what they're listening to, bizarre humor, porn

Obner = more intelligent, music, piss taking, funny dudes, food tips

Many of the music threads go completely ignored on here, unlike on Hipinion, that's why I stated that above.

both boards are fucking great imo, just very different.

this board bumps 5 year old threads, which hinders music threads where we all say the same thing over and over again. hipinion has had a similar led zeppelin thread 100 times, but I enjoy it when it has its semi annual occurrence.

yeah there are.

you have to wade through some shit, but there's a lot of solid threads with good content.

there's an Americana/folk/alt.country upload thread that i'm sure some people on here would be into.

oh, and an epic METAL thread.

DJ, I don't understand it, but the Dick's Pick's thread has the type of commentary and interest that you'd find over there. It's refreshing to see it on Obner actually.
