Hint:
It's NOT "Dad's Yummy Chicken".

Just sharing, really.
I forgot that none of you will really give a shit. Although, Toots did add some pretty masterful vocals to one track, and he mixed two others, and saved their lives, after another engineer bitched out on me.

That Eeyore shit is over.
This is a really good fucking record that I am really proud of. Because, despite bringing in a variety of collaborators, it's not a band:
I brought in WHO I wanted to, WHEN I wanted them in; to do THEIR PART, and that was it. Essentially, it's pretty much all me.

When I release it, I hope that you all do at least listen. If you don't like it, that's okay. I can live with that, because I know that I did what I did, how I wanted to do it. No regrets. You just don't like it.

But I think that a lot more of you will like it than you think. No two songs are anything like one another. It covers a lot of stylistic ground, and I think that's it's biggest strength.

It's not out of line with my album-title sensibilities, to date!
I'll keep it in mind.

the more I look at that cover, I'm not sure what other title you could've been gunning for.

srsly.

It's a bit of an inside joke.
The chicken on the cover is something that my wife and I found soon after we got married. It was so ridiculous, and made us laugh so hard -- ("It's a Chicken!!! On a bicycle!!!") -- that we wound up buying it.
So, I put it on the cover for this one. It makes about as much sense as the record itself.

But you can call it whatever you want, I'll just be happy that you listen to it.
(Those who have been working on it have been vocal about how much they like it. A good sign that I didn't encounter with the first one.)

I look forward to adding this to my HoP CD collection. Is it too late to change the name to Stone's suggestion, though?

Trust me, Todd, people will check it out. You have your fans and certainly your detractors, but I can't think of anyone on this board who at least wouldn't give it a fair shot. And you know this.

If you're serious, I just want to know where. And how?
That is too odd.
I just hope that it's the mastered version, because that makes a huge difference; at least to my ears.

That picture is of an actual little tchatcski (sp?) that we saw at a Mikasa that we bought.
It made us laugh.
I took a picture of it and put it on the album cover.
