Haha, I kinda like Mack Brown though I don't think he talked with that much of an accent when he was at UNC.

ACC & Big 12 games were both good.

Next weeks games:

1. Alabama vs. BYE
2. Texas vs, BYE
3. TCU vs. GA Tech
4. Cincinnati vs. Ohio State
5. Boise State vs. Oregon

Oh wait...

This should put a dagger in the heart to any BCS or "old Bowl system" defenders. Can you IMAGINE if this is what we had in store for the next month? As it stands, all I get now is a month of Bammers competing for who can pour Saban a bigger Cumtini. BLECH.

No it won't because the regular season is the most important in sports and shakes everything out...

Still not happy with the review on the supposed "egregious" clock error ruling, but let's get ready for Bowl season.

BCS: Alabama vs Texas (shitty game)
Orange: Georgia Tech vs TCU (intriguing, but mostly bland)
Fiesta: Boise State vs Iowa (I'll only enjoy watching Iowa being taken to the woodshed)
Sugar: Florida vs Cincinnati (Tebow won't be losing his finale)
Rose: Oregon vs Ohio State (only good if Oregon wins)
Alamo: Michigan State vs Texas Tech
Papa Johns: Pitt vs South Carolina
Cotton: Oklahoma State vs Ole Miss
Liberty: East Carolina vs Arkansas
Gator: Florida State vs West Virginia
Capitol One: Penn State vs LSU
Outback: Wisconsin vs Auburn
Insight: Minnesota vs Missouri
Sun: Stanford vs Oklahoma
Texas: Iowa State vs Navy
Humanitarian: UCLA vs Idaho
Holiday: Nebraska vs Arizona (trying to beat two Stoops in one year)
Champs Sports: Miami, FL vs Northwestern
Independence: Texas A&M vs Georgia
Little Caesars: Bowling Green vs Temple (Aren't these both MAC teams)
MAACO: Oregon State vs Utah

They have Ohio in the Little Caesar bowl against UCLA and Temple in the International Bowl.

I think they will ghetto-ize TCU-Boise St. to the Fiesta, put Iowa vs. GT (though Cinci-GT would be a better matchup and have an over/under of 100) in the Orange and UF-Cinci in the Sugar.

I think that is highly possible, but that only occurs if the Fiesta really wants that match-up due to regional travel and want no part of the Big Ten runner-up.
Iowa vs Georgia Tech would be one the most irrelevant BCS games in history, on par with Utah vs Pittsburgh a few years back and last year's Orange Bowl.

Newsflash! All BCS games aside from the Championship are irrelevant.

I wouldn't specifically sat that when they feature an unbeaten team, or could produce more than three unbeaten teams in the final rankings.
If Texas is smote in the title game, and Boise State, Cincinnati and TCU all win, they won't need to worry about finding a judge who wants to hear an anti-trust hearing on the BCS.
Although I will state that the AP voters being whiney bitches and typically SEC loving football fans, won't risk voting for anyone but Texas or Bama.
The Championship game can even be relatively irrelevant ( see LSU/Oklahoma in the Sugar vs USC in the Rose Bowl)

Fox Sports seems to think the Huskers got the shaft.

Here's exactly what happened: There were 24 incomplete passes in the Texas-Nebraska game. On every one of them — every single one (I know, I went back and checked in slow motion) — the game clock ticked off that second, and sometimes another. That's how it always works in this and every other game: There's a bit of a human element (the eye sending the message to the brain, the brain relaying it to the finger on the clock button, the electronic impulses prompting the clock to stop).

Heartbreaker for sure Prom. The right thing at this point would be for voters to put TCU or Cincy in the title game over Texas.

Regardless of the clock issue, you have to admit that the last sequence of events from the kick out of bounds on was a disaster. Your defense was awesome all day and the special teams and the penalty put them in a terrible spot at the most crucial moment.

They way that defense was playing, I think if that kick stays in bounds, Nebraska is the Big 12 Champ today.

For sure, the kick out of bounds was especially inexcusable, but the clock issue in conjunction with two terrible PI calls gave the Longhorns all their points. Plus, the Longhorn offensive line gave up eight sacks and were called for two chop blocks on Suh, yet were never called for a Hold? How is that possible?

You should never let the refs decide the game for you, but it will remain a bitter loss for years to come. Like many Husker fans, I believe that had Lee thrown the pass out of bounds like that, Nebraska wouldn't have been given that extra second back.

This was just confirmed by the Independence Bowl officials on AJC.com

Oh well, at least we'll get some extra practice in.

I've witnessed firsthand 2 OU/A&M games. The first one was the 77-0 debacle that very easily could have been 100-0.
Then, the 65-10 game this year. A&M only shows up for in-state rivalries.
My advice would be to wear crimson jerseys.
And drink heavily,it's still on New Year's Eve,right?

At least you get to check out the A&M band.

You are allegedly correct according to murmurings and some confirmations from reputable media sources.

I honestly didn't think they'd really do it but here it is:

Florida State (6-6) will face West Virginia (9-3) in the Gator Bowl.

Fucking travesty. A new low for CFB.

I wish you luck and I really liked Kelly's interview on ESPN, but I think the Bearcats are going to get beat down.
It could end up being like Georgia vs Hawaii a few years back. Collaros better be ready to play in this one, since he's going to sub for Pike at some point.
Urban Meyer will probably end up being a classless prick in this one, and running it up if he gets the chance.
