Ok GARTEXMAS is on like Donkey Kong. We will be traveling via The Life Fail Mobile to McKinney on the 19th. God willing, we shall make it in one day.

I have an appointment in Ft. Worth with Sid Richardon and Co to discuss dominating the world's silver market on the 21st at noon time.

I am trying to decide if the week before Christmas, say Tuesday the 22 and 23 is better to hit Austin, or if it is better to go apres like come down the 27 and stay the 28 and go back to TEH METROPLEX0rz on the 29 is preferable?

Phil/Deena, Chadwick/Fucephus/Chuck(FAIL)D what is your timeline like? I am demanding some BBQ, massive mex, and lots of The Three B's: Bourbon, Beefsteak and Blondes

Bob, I know we will hit Chipotle for lunch, or wherever else you might want to go. Is Jagged still alive? We could have a meeting of progeny if SHEJAG is amenable :)

The only thing set in stone is my monday meeting. I am going to convene a series of visits for whatever weekday I am in Austin, and then plan on TEH WHOOPING that evening -->HOE-Tel, MOE-tel, Holiday Inn --> north through Waco the next day.

Let me know what works, honkies!

Once Dec. 15 hits the bossman goes on vacay through the end of the year and my job gets orders of magnitude easier, so I'm down for whateva. Phil will be on break and missing his wife who work too damn much. Colin might be married (srsly). Fu could be in jail, could be elected governor. Kit's still bangin' around here too, but he's busy and quiet most times.

pre christmas would be better for me, because post christmas i'm co-producing an album for a chick from boston who's flying in.

in the words of parliament, i'm "down to get down".

P.S. I don't know what's better for deena, i'll ask her and get back to you when i see her.

Word. It appears pre-Christmas is best for my other ATX contacts as well, so I am thinking leave on down morning of 22, meetings, then hang with y'all fools, get up and go back to Dallas the 23rd. Let me see what this produces in the way of TEARS and I will report back.

Pre Xmas would be great. I think I'm driving up to the folks either 23rd or 24th, but that mostly hinges on when they are moving into their new place.

This actually works out well for me, too, as POST-Christmas is better since the invading hordes (my nephews) are here PRE-Christmas. (Still not sure yet what works better for GARvis, but I'm sure he'll chime in soon enough).

Hey, Bob. How about we pencil in a post-Christmas something or other. I'm going to my parents in Arkansas, probably coming back the first week of January. Chances are I'd be hitting Big D (aren't you in Frisco?) mid-to-late afternoon on my return, if you can swing it.

we'll be back in the D on the 26th or 27th...so anyday after that is good for me

a progeny meetup would be great, but that makes it daytime shindig, obviously

and Corey definitely let me know when you're swinging through, so we can do this

Well shitfuck. Spartans hoops team is in town the 22nd playing the 'Horns and I was all set on going. Maybe I'll just go to the alumni/team/Izzo reception in the afternoon and then monger on down/up with y'all. Pencil me in at this point.

Alright, I'm coming down the 22nd and staying at the Omni (downtown) that night. I will have wife and baby in tow.

Probably best idea is early-ish dinner and drinks? Like 6:00 or something...and then maybe I can send wife and BFF back to the room to hang with baby, and we can go out and bang black tar H?

Maaaan...
I really think I'mma have to catch up with y'all later on after the game. I nominate Fu to act as social director and keep me in the loop for I can join in just prior to Sixth Street being engulfed in flames.

Sounds like we might actually be able to make this an FT, Fu, LooGAR and GARvis quadfecta!!!

If he's coming back through Metroplex in January, I'll be long gone.

Oh, I kind of glossed over the January part. I honed in too much on the "post-Christmas" piece. You'll be in Big D after Austin, though, right?

Yeah. We're leaving here the 19th, and we'll just be in Austin the 1 day-night.

So far, my itinerary looks like: Pull outta here early to get to Austin for lunch, and then I have a 2, a 3:30 and a 4.

Do we have a dinner plan?

I lollered. Wanna try for post Christmas Bash on Saturday or Sunday?

I'm leaving early, on Monday.
