Because the search function still does not work. How do you do a search for "mad men" (not in quotes) and come up with nothing?

Anyway, we just finished watching Season 1 via Netflix, and I'm eagerly anticipating Season 2. Dreading the long wait before the Season 3 DVDs are released, and I'm possibly considering getting cable just so we can watch Season 4 when it airs.

If you don't like this show, I don't like you. That is all.

It is a great show. We're doing the Netflix thing too and it sucks being behind on a show like this.

I just got disc 1 of the first season in the mail... I think I'll put it on tonight, in honor of the Obner search function.

You do that.

It's tempting (but expensive) to just go to Blockbuster and rent the first disc of Season 2 tonight. We ended up renting discs 2 & 4 of Season 1 that way because we couldn't stand waiting.

Really one of the best shows I've ever seen.

Forget it man, you're done. Just go ahead consider that money spent.

Femderris and I came late to the show as well and we blew through them all In about 3 weeks.

We dvr'ed season 4 but we waited to watch it until we were caught up.

But yeah, awesome show.

I think it's easily the best show on TV and probably my favorite show of the last 15 years.

I'm already in withdrawal from Season 3--can't wait for the next season.

This is why despite the fact that we rarely agree, we would be friends in real life, D.

we are two episodes into season 2 and are fully hooked. i seriously almost threw in the towel after the first couple episodes of season 1, but patience was rewarded. same kinda thing happened with the wire.

It took me a few episodes, and some prodding from Bloor to fully buy in during S1's original airing.

I was hooked on The Wire from the first Episoda I saw, which was Ep 3 of the original airing.

Yeah, I noticed that. We just watched that one a few nights ago.

There was an episode in Season 1 that had a fairly recent song in the closing scene/credits as well. I wish they wouldn't do that, but it's a minor complaint.

Well they do use a RJD2 song in the opening credits, so they've been using recent songs since the beginning

Yeah, that's a little different.
