I mean, obviously it deals with healthcare, but to me, it seems as if we are so caught up in getting something, anything done, that we don't really care if it reforms anything. Hell, one of the Amendments the other day was going to insure that HC costs went UP in the nest decade. Not quite The Change we had hoped for.

But, having recently read Master of the Senate, I can understand WHY they just want to pass SOMETHING - first Civil RIghts Billi in close to 100 years was passed in 1957, and by 1964 we had the Housing Act and Voting RIghts Act. Incrementalism is not necessarily bad.

I am not now, nor will I probably ever be a "policy wonk" but I can tell you that this thing is going to play hell in a lot of districts. Both where the Rep voted for and where the Rep voted against. It's a sticky wicket.
