Bourdain actually had a segment on this when he went to Vegas. It's pretty cool.

Yea I've always wanted to go to the boneyard but never have... I own a sign company as well so seeing all these past products, how they were built, their weight, the type of transformers and how they were conceptualized always fascinated me. So many advances since those days in all around manufacturing of signs.
