2009 has been a crap year for music.

But it hasn't.

I know have shitty taste in music, but I haven't heard of anything he posted thus far. Who the fuck are the Antlers?

Well, there is a cut posted on the thread, a link to the Metacritic site with many, many reviews from varied sources.... so there are many ways to access information and to gain exposure to this new music. I think Obner (CMJ's draw originally) is a place to find new music... It'd be a shame if Obner started sounding like its parents.

I was so-so on Antlers at first, but it has grown on me.

I think it still is, but with respect to this band I was more commenting on how I'd never seen this in any of the NP threads or had anyone start any threads about it yet is a Year in Review thread. Although, I may be incorrect about there not being any threads about it, the search is still disabled.

Yeah, I don't think anyone on this board really talked about that Antlers album.

I think Bee just started a thread about it because it got a lot of positive reviews.

Hence his threads are useful ways to bring up and discuss music that many reviewers have lauded but perhaps got overlooked in the year of Obner. So, not redundant, and good for B.Ok. as opposed to how Obner usually goes LordoftheFlies on his poor ass.

Yeah, that's always a bit much.

However, it is funny how about 90% of his posts now are just copied and pasted from somewhere else, and usually not his own words to begin with. I was gonna just copy and past other reviews in his Year in Review threads and see if anyone noticed.

I personally like Bee's threads...
