That's just weird for me to see. I used to hang out with Mike a bit and he dated a girl that I was friends with in HS. You've been touting GGG for a while and, while I heard a lot of his early songs -- 14 years ago or so -- I really need to pick that up. Thanks for the reminder.

I'll try to get back in touch with Mike and let him know about this list. (Hell, if it were me getting news that some total stranger had my album on a "best of" list, that would make my decade.)

Who Fingered Rock 'n' Roll is definitely fucking great. Good to see The XX in there so high.

Yeah, I've been playing that Cornershop almost daily. That XX album is insidious, it creeps and crawls into the brain.

You can tell him that at least two strangers will have it listed.

I didn't quite cotton to these as some of the other folks around here. The Deer Tick guy's voice is only good in small doses for me.

I didn't hear Cornershop, Prophet, or Ike Reilly. I feel like any list of mine won't be complete until I do.

The only one I don't really get is the xx. Not sure what people see in that one.

I only know Cornershop from that Bosom Pillow song, but since people have been jacking their pee-pees over it lately, I'll giver 'er a go.

I like that damn ol Gidget Ga Ga, too.

good call on the new Tragically Hip. It will be my #2 album of the year.

I have the new Blue Rodeo as well, and i will likely give it a better rating than you have. Will probably crack my top ten. I think it was seeing them live a couple weeks ago that did it for me, the new tunes sound great live.

I'm seeing them in January so maybe I'll rank it higher after that. Got great seats too, 4th row centre.
