looking forward to see what this band puts out. their first ep is rad.

o.k., what are you digging about this?

here's what i don't dig.

1. snoozy
2. way to repetitious
3. spelling billie holiday over and over again
4. ripping off the words to "my guy" by mary wells. A quote is one thing, a nod is one thing, but they took it all.
5. bad keyboard strings
6. breathy female vocals seem affected
7. not digging the outro/reprise... song is already too long by a couple minutes, so let's make it a minute longer.

here's what I dig.
1. the flange on the guitar as they re-start that abominable spelling
2. breathy female vocals are still female, and are at least in tune, and have their own sexy charm.

i guess, pretty much all of it.

I'm not feeling it--which probably means its going to be Obner's track of the year.
