I'm sorry I didn't make as many ultra-uber-super-important polls this year. Maybe my new year's resolution will be to rectify that. Please vote, knowing that even just one person can make a difference.

The only one of these I can really remember clearly is Return of the Jedi. And come on, it's hard to beat The Emperor getting thrown down a bottomless shaft by a dying Darth Vader.

Jedi, Cliffhanger and Die Hard were all pretty cool. I also enjoyed Malkovich falling to his death at the end of In the Line of Fire and Brendan Gleeson in the film In Bruges.
Doesn't the two halves of Darth Maul's body also fall down a bottomless shaft in The Phantom Menace?

I love the one in Time Cop where Van Damme stops the guy mid fall, takes him to trial back in the future (present), and they send this guy back to where he was mid fall as a death sentence.

I almost forgot my all-time favorite, Charles Durning in The Hudsucker Proxy. Tim Robbins near death fall at the end of the film is also pretty cool.

Clapton's kid or that drummer in brooklyn in the elevator shaft. Too soon? Probably.

Yeah I guess I should have indicated that the poll is specifically about a villain that falls at the end of a movie.

Cliffhanger, because for a second, I thought the guy was going to make it, so the fall was more of a surprise.

When Art Galt takes a tumble out of the chopper in First Blood. I love his scream.

But of that list, gotta be Die Hard.

Aliens 3 where Ripley is falling backward into the molten lead and is able to grab and hold on to the baby alien with one hand as it bursts out of her chest and they both plummet to their death.
