I only bought one bottle and drank it last night. It is a really bold and hoppy beer, it is much more like an IPA or Fall Seasonal Ale than a Winter Ale. It wasn't terrible, but probably a bit too piney and hoppy for what I was looking for last night.

I have a Delirium Tremens Holidaze ale and some other big beer.

Plus Sapphire martinis

and I got a spherical ice ball maker for scotch, so I'll have to sip on sip on some of that!

Glenfiddich on the rocks to start
then a Grand Marnier on the rocks
then a couple Pipers Pale Ale
then a Cointreau on the rocks
then another Pipers Pale Ale
then a rum and coke

lots of variety, but my favorites are still the scotch and the beers

Might need to try that. Since college, if I drink gin, its gonna be Sapphire.

Also, I nearly bought one of these at Bed, Bath and Beyond the day after Christmas:

too bad it only works with Heineken minikegs.

The, BeerTender® is simple to use and was designed to work exclusively with the Heineken® and Heineken Premium Light® Draught Kegs®. Simply load keg, attach tube and close the lid and you're ready to serve. The results are so authentic, don't be surprised if people start calling you bartender. They're $99.99, which isn't too shabby.

I had two whiskey cokes and a pint of Boulevard Pale before heading over to The Faint concert.
At the show, I had a pint of Anchor Christmas Ale and two PBR Tallboys.
