I was considering doing one myself... let me know if you ever actually succeed in getting in one.

It's been loading for about 5 minutes. Is anyone else having trouble getting in to the draft?

Is it over? I had to go to CA on an emergency job today and just got finished and can't get into the draft on the blackberry. I am not happy.

Dude? Ochocinco in the first round? Ced Benson in the 2nd and Shayne Graham in the 5th? I know you're a Bengals homer, but I don't like your chances.

Yeah, I forgot. I was out of town on business Mon-Wed, and although I got home Wednesday afternoon, it was the last thing on my mind after two days of heavy drinking. I'm afraid to look at my auto-draft results.

So I just sat down about to set up my autopick list because it listed the draft date as August 27th. I forgot to cross-check that it was the 27th at 2am local time!!!

You're welcome.

For those of you who remember the commentaries I did back in '04/'05, the man who inspired them passed away over the weekend. Ed (aka Shred) was in my fraternity at Penn State and graduated right before I arrived. We connected a lot when he came back to visit, and he ran the fraternity alumi league for over a decade. Anything I did right as commish I learned from him.

Dude was also a world-class flair bartender (world's #2 three years running) and one of the funniest people I ever met. The fact that he chose to take a Cobain/HST exit reinforces that no matter how sensitive I am I'll never really know someone else's pain.

RIP Shred.

If anyone's interested, I've got another slot or two left in a Yahoo! league that's drafting live online Sunday night (9/6) at 9:00 p.m. central (10 eastern). PM me for more details.

Drew Brees gets me the win. If he can throw six touchdowns every week, I should have no problem winning this league.

Thanks! It was a good season, and a lucky one for me. I thought for sure your team was gonna be the one to beat after you made that trade for Fitzgerald - tough break on Ronnie Brown.

Working on my list right now....
