Since I am stuck out here in Afghanistan, I might as live viacariously through obner.

I feel like I'm 8...snow tubing and ayce pizza at the local ski resort. Going with a bunch of friends, should be fun. Only goes til 1, then we'll probably come back and party.

Since my lady is down with a broken collarbone and 4 broken ribs, I'll probably drive around the neighborhood shooting stop signs.

Since the Mrs. is 8 months preggers, we will be hosting a small party with some friends. Probably be asleep by 11:30.

I'm going to a Masquerade Ball for the 3rd time in four years.
This year I made a Bat Boy/Nosferatu mask rather than wear a luchador mask.
One of the late 90's/early 2000's band Rent Money Big from Lincoln that played a lot of Saddle Creek gigs is reforming for the show. The rest of the line-up is Omaha Garage rock band Brimstone Howl who is on Alive Records, a couple local DJ's and another not so notable local band that is covering "Stop Making Sense" by The Talking Heads.

Next step is for me to go get my gun license...
and come to the fact that at some point in the future, I will punch a sixteen year old boy in the face and goto jail!

Mellow dinner party with some laid back friends...

Start the semi-serious drinking at a party with a few couples at first party...

Finish the evening in grand style in a party full of completely wasted degenerates drinking and doing god knows what 'til the sun comes up...

Sleep all the next day.

Hopefully will avoid knocking anyone up the entire evening.

I'll be continuing my tradition of attending parties hosted by the 2 friends who seem to have them year after year - one mild and one wild. I used to have to hop in a cab to get from one party to the other, but now they both live in the same neighborhood, so I can just stumble from one to another.

Only live vicariously through me if you want boredom. I'll be watching my 3-year-old daughter and watching my Cyclones get beat in the Insight Bowl.

i'm doing up some short ribs braised in an irish stout base that will slow cook all day. solo drinking and we'll probably be asleep by 10 or 11 (another pregnant wife here). the early night suits me fine though, i'm heading up to the mountains for some skiing early on friday.

Take baby through freezing cold conditions across town on subway and bus to a party with friends, hang out til midnight or a meltdown, whichever comes first, then hobble home.

looks like we are staying in this year.

Large party of music teachers and spouses. It'll be more wine than beer, and lots of different kinds of soups. And we'll do live karaoke since there are a lot of instruments at the house and everyone's a fair to middling singer.

Well, before today, I was going to go to Daleville to hang with my dad and my buddy Matt.

The baby has a fever/chest cold, and the dog got her nail ripped down to the quick, and bled all over the place. Sedation + Stitches+Bandage+Lampshade Collar.

I guess now I might just hang out and test out my new shotgun Hemingway-style.
