I bet Derris and Bloor were doing this back in the day with Ric Flair quotes.

On the contrary, I despise people like that.

Nebraska 33 Arizona 0, after 3 quarters.
Nebraska's offense has scored 21 pts, has over 300 yds total offense and even threw a 70+ yd pass for a score.
Arizona currently has under 50yds of total offense.

Well done Huskers. It would appear that failing in Bowl games is genetic with the Stoops'. I will congratulate you on your win, and hang my head in shame now.

I have to give a lot of credit to Arizona for not kicking a garbage FG there.
First Shut out in Holiday Bowl and Husker Bowl History
33-0
The Pac-10 has to be happy that USC and UCLA have won so far.

That was a fun game to watch as a Nebraska fan. I'm disappointed that Arizona ended up with over 100 yards of offense, but what a great way for Ndamukong Suh to go out!!!

I also loved the talk of Palmer/James/Fowler about us being a pre-season Top 10 team next year!!!

Pelini seems to be really good at preparing for bowl games.

Granted, yes, the Pac-10 is struggling so far in bowl games. But I really think Oregon will be an exception. I guess we'll see soon. ;-)

Stanford is currently beating OU at the half in Pac-10/Big 12 match-up #2.
Also Navy and Mizzou are tied, so the Big 12 could easily fall to 1-4 today if they lose both of these match-ups and tonight's Insight Bowl between Minnesota and Iowa State.

Elvis Fu,
Nice Job by the Naval Academy in taking Mizzou to the woodshed. The Tigers had been whining about being screwed out of the Insight Bowl, since most bowl organizers believe they travel poorly and are generally disinterested with second tier bowl games.

Big 12 now 3-2, and 2-0 against the Pac-10. The old Big 8 is 3-1, while the old SWC is 1-2 so far.

Tennessee got HOUSED by VA. Tech.

Disappointing because the Chik-Fil-A is oftentimes a compelling game but who cares when its Lane Kiffin who is getting his brains beat in.

The Georgia Tech-LSU game last year was pretty ugly if I recall too, it might be a trend at the "Peach" Bowl

Agreed. Two straight stinkers though the result in both cases was personally satisfying. Plus, good game or not, the Peach is one of the few bowl games that always has a packed, rocking, loud crowd. Some of these bowl crowds are pretty dead.

Yeah, folks BRING IT at The Peach Bowl.

And, FUCK Tennessee. I am not an "always root for the SEC" guy. I can root for most, but cannot compel myself to go for UF or UT.

Also, considering starting an FB group "Bama Spouses Secretly Cheering for Texas"

That Outback Bowl was crazy. Auburn nearly screwed themselves out of a win with the late game fumbles and penalties.
If Northwestern had any semblance of a kicking game, they would have stunned War Eagle.

Yeah, almost EPIC bed shitting.

Also, seriously, the city of Orlando should get their license to host ANY bowl games revoked based on the conditions of that field.

It was the same crap conditions for the Champs Sports Bowl earlier this week as well.

Also, as much as I think FSU being in the Gator Bowl is a joke, I have to admit watching Bobby throw the spear in the ground was pretty cool.

As long as they have the SEC tie in it should always sell out.

It just has so much to offer to fans. Go see your bowl game in a city with a ton to offer for NYE and it's also (in most cases) driveable.

As competitive as they have been in this game, I think they proved that they were just as deserving as say Clemson to be in this game.
I'm pretty sure Clemson screwed somebody out of the appearance last year due to having a larger fan base, and Nebraska edged Missouri out of the spot last year due to that reason as well.
