Happy New Year everyone :-)

I've compiled & mixed some of my favorite ambient, modern classical, & experimental electronic tracks from 2009. Feel free to download and enjoy. Candlelight and a glass of wine go very nicely with this.

Some good stuff on here for sure. I love that entire Celer record. Balmorhea didn't do much for me, and it looks like I should have paid more attention to the Ben Frost album also. Regardless, great mix dude.

k, you didn't dig Ben Frost's latest? holy shit, it's RIDICULOUS!!!!!! one of my favs this past year for sure.

also, really sad to hear the girl from Celer died. Heart failure at 26. yikes.

i'm going to enjoy diving into your list in the next few weeks.

I just didn't spend much time with the Frost album. I think I actually got it the same day as the Greiner album that contradiction had on his list, and somehow, they just got lost in the shuffle. Will be revisiting both of those throughout the week for sure.

Yeah that Celer record is crazy good, and it's so odd to me how it came out when at the time there was obviously no signs of anything being wrong. Danielle was certainly a great loss to the ambient world this year, as young as she was she was only going to bet better, and Celer was continually getting better with each release, of course culminating in this amazing record.

Toots, that was outstanding. Good laughs are hard to come by here in the 'Stan, and that little ridiculousness absolutely killed me for some reason man.

in an effort to expand my horizons I gave a listen to Bee Mask, it was pretty chill. Not sure that I have an actual opinion on it yet, but thought I'd mention it in the thread.
