I'll never forget seeing her live in a local club. Only a handful of people were there, but she was still shy up on stage... standing in the center in front of the microphone and her hands clasped in front of here. Her old guitar player was off on the right hand side, sitting on a stool and just absolutely smoking his acoustic. It was such a great evening--and yet kind of sad at the same time because so few people had bothered to show up.

Oh man. I only discovered The Living Road last year and have her last one as well.

Really horrible. She was fighting breast cancer for nearly two years. I had no idea.
