He popularized the Executive Finger Bang some thirty years before President Clinton, but his career was cut short a mere 1000 days into his first term.

I'm not sure why, but there seem to be a few about ol' JFK. Right off the top of my head, I can think of:

Misfits :: "Bullet"
New Race :: "November 22, 1963" [This is apparently a Destroy All Monsters original, I'm only familiar with this version]
Dion :: "Abraham, Martin and John" :rawk:

Throw some more up in hurrrrrr. I'm curious if we could get 15 or so total. I think Johnny Horton or some other knucklehead made a song about the PT-109, so that's fair game too, I guess.

Not strictly about the Kennedy assassination, but it is a part of what the song is about.
Grant Lee Buffalo-Lone Star Song

Of course the Stones mention it in Sympathy for the Devil.

Does Executive Finger Bang become the working title for the next Johnny Taint and the Buckets of Piss album?

Is this the song thats like????:

"Pray for Peter Pumkin,
Pray for Peter Pumpkin-head...."
with the harp melody.

Damn, I've been wondering for a couple years who did that song since I heard it on a "retro" radio show; If that is the song, I remember the video from the Dave Kendall-era 120 Minutes. For some reason, I though it might be World Party, but I think I'm thinking of the "The Ballad of Jumbo" or whathaveyou.....

Anybody who might have this track laying around wanna send it to me?

Yep, same song - although the version most people remember was by the Crash Test Dummies (with the chick singing).

I apologize for my faulty memory of your band's name, though in my defense, it is not as memorable as Darrin's Shambolic Trumpets. Furthermore, I figured, given your prodigious imbibing, that you could easily fill not just a tin with piss, but a pail.

Is that alright?

There's some song I've heard recently that has some dialogue at the end of it detailing the shooting of JFK. I have no idea what it is right now though.

There's a poignant lyric in Billy Joel's 'We Didn't Start The Fire' about JFK.
