Is it backlash if you didn't like the stuff they recorded before every one creamed their pants over them?

i'm just gonna play my guitar and sing some words and not worry about whether or not anybody who's done the exact same thing over the past 60 years did a 1000x better job

i mean you can reduce just about anything to something dubious if you're eager to write it off

no, they usually smell awful. throw in neo-hippieness with a dash of crank and you got yourself some dudes that havent washed in a week and a half. you know that smell? its unmistakable the second it slams into your nose. kind of like a combo of swiss cheese and baby shit

I don't mind them that much...I liked Strawberry Jam a little more than than Merriweather I think, but this one seems to be getting all the praise.

down here it was a lot of models in their 20's, gay boys, and well dressed people, so it didn't really smell that bad at all.

I think the band probably smells way worse than most of their fans, actually.

the AC guys? I met two of them (in a cave). They were wearing Patagonia gear and looked showered. They're rich kids from Baltimore suburbs that took a lot of hallucinogens and listened to the Grateful Dead...

"My Girls" and "Summertime Clothes" are good. The rest of it is a big fat MEH...definitely nowhere near my album of the year.
