man, every time i go back and listen to the new Beach House i am floored by how brilliant it is.

I cannot wait for the DVD to come with the record. Plus, since I pre-ordered I get a book as well. I've been listening to it alot, and yeah its astounding.

Yeah. Pretty much. If you dig post-rock, you'll dig.

So, FAILEN, if I liked the first Beach House (it even made my shmoo poll) should I snag this one? How do it compare?

Great voice. Her debut/ep-ish was on my year end. I'll up her when I get a chance. (oh geez, snickerers)

why you sonofabitch...

yeah man, grab it. better than the first 2 imo. i think you'll really enjoy it. more upbeat, and they've written music that i always thought they were capable of. no sleepers.

at the moment, my most listened to album.

the song has a weird mix of BoH-esque/Wall of Sound (especially that loud drum beat) production. Definitely wanna hear more

D/L/ing Beach House.

Pulling this down now. I am unapologetically a massive Xiu Xiu fan. Also, loving that Grouper, is that a precursor to another full length from her this year, do you know?

Will give that Beach House a listen after seeing all the love y'all are giving it. I have seen them a few times and have been slightly underwhelmed, though I keep going back. There is something intriguing about them to me, maybe this one will finally completely reel me in.

Could someone re-up the Beach House? You all convinced me to try it out and the link went dead.
