k, what type of gear ya got? got any tunes?
No tunes saved on the drive I brought here to the 'Stan with me (I don't think, a couple of incomplete ones but that's it). As for gear, I have way too much. Ridiculous amount of synths and pedals that I have bent to shit over the years only to move on to something else and now have 5 Casio SK-1s that I fucked with sitting in the garage collecting dust. I think that picture was when I was determined to recreate the drums from Liars "Be Quiet..." and "Let's Not Wrestle..." Mt. Heart Attack tracks (I love those drums!!!) using ReGen, a piece of crap Electribe, KP-1, and MicroKorg. I never did get the drums quite right for the record.
The setup I had right before I left has far and away been my favorite:
Sleepdrone 5-->Truly Beautiful Disaster-->Yamaha E1005 (wet out)-->Copilot Antenna 2-->Radical Red Reverb-->Truly Beautiful Disaster-->Mixer
Dry out from Yamaha into into a DE-7-->Audible Disease RP-1-->Pigtronix Disnortion-->Earthquaker Hummingbird-->Pitch Pirate-->RP-1-->mixer
Ekdahl Moisturizer-->Empress Superdelay-->Zvex Fuzz Factory-->Mixer
Utopia Synth-->Empress Tremolo-->Audible Disease RP-2 Input; RP-2 Send-->Earthquaker Disaster Transport-->Electro Harmonix Holy Grail Plus-->Moog 12 Stage Phaser (CV In); CV Out Fed back into RP-2 return slot; RP-2 Output to mixer;
Audible Disease Dimentia-->12 Stage Phaser (audio slots)-->WMD FatMan-->Moog Ring Mod (Carrier In)-->(Carrier Out)-->Roland Space Echo (1 slot)-->Mixer;
Moog Ring Mod LFO-->Roland Space Echo (2nd Slot)-->Catalinbread Teaser Stallion-->Moog Ring Mod Audio In/Audio Out-->Mixer
Folktek Micro Garden (BCM Edition)-->Dwarfcraft Salty Romance Expolosion-->Malekko 600 Dark-->Cosmichorus-->Tremolescence-->Explosion-->Mixer
Mic-->Audible Disease Looper-->Diamond Memory Lane-->MURF-->Mixer
I only have a twelve channel mixer and that set up left a few channels for various explorations with a field recorder, contact mics, what ever else I can find laying around. With the exception of most of the delays I have managed to snag most everything used or have been able to trade for stuff (a lot of the shit I bent has been traded for some of these standard pedals). I will likely downgrade this once I get back, pull the Dimentia and Utopia out of the mix and use the pedals from those to make some new feedback loops.
But yeah, probably way more than you cared to know, but I miss my stuff and get excited about getting back to home to it.
