Arizona got really lucky the facemask on Rodgers didn't get called on the last play.

so what would have happened here if they called it right? The facemask happened after the ball was in the air. Was it a fumble and Arizona gets the ball minus 15? Or was it an interception negated by the flag? Or an interception minus 15 yards?

Dunno, but it would have been something different than what actually happened. I won't argue that it had no bearing on the rest of the play, but who knows...maybe if Rodgers hadn't gotten face masked, he would have broke free of the tackle, made the play on the guy who intercepted it, caused a fumble to get the ball back. LOL.

apparently it would have been a first down for green bay because even though the ball was loose Arizona didnt have possesion when the penalty occured. oh well, it won't change anything. more what ifs.
