We are good to go and I'm here to satisfy. Thanks for the nice words Opa. Likewise, you are worthy and most likely a better music man than I. I hope to make it worth your while.

Those were all the names that I saw in the thread. If I missed you I'm sorry, or if you don't want to participate just post below. Also if you want to participate but didn't post in the first thread post below. PM your partner and see if they have a theme for you or not, and once you get the mix make a thread to review it and post the link to it at the bottom. Reviews are mandatory. Have fun.

So, are we supposed to make a thread about our own mix or of our partner's mix...?

This is a lot harder than I thought it would be. I definitely am looking forward to getting mine as in making Paper's I have realized just how narrow my music choices are. I need to get out of my comfort zone sometime.

I'm sitting here with 8 CD binders and I'm a little intimidated. I can't imagine how people used to make mixed tapes without being able to look at their entire collection digitally. I think it'll be interesting, though. Regardless, I'm a few days away from being done.

Hm, OK. I didn't actually get to work on it over the weekend like I had hoped. I put something together at work already, but I was hoping to improve it a little with stuff I have at home.

Anyway, if I can't get it done by Wednesday, I'll just send you what I have.

As far as how I'm going to do it... what do you mean?

Well, I've never uploaded anything here before. Do I just zip the files together and upload to one of the various sites and send you the link?

Yeah, pretty much. Just make sure you send me the track order in case they get shuffled when I import them.

Derris, I've narrowed the songs on the mix down to 45. Now I just need to trim it to 73+ minutes and pull together some cover art.

Do you prefer a disc or .zip file?

It's your call man. I wasn't able to do it over the weekend but I'm putting something together.

There is no theme. Just a mix of tunes that I like.

FWIW, I'll be mailing you yours. I'll PM you for your addy.

Cool. I'll send you something tangible, but I am not rushing it into production and out the door.

The file name will have the mix track order, but the tags will have the track number on the source album. So sort by filename, not by the track number in the tags.

I'll try to upload tonight.

Alright.

My mix is done, and I'll do the same thing so you can sort by file name. Plus, I'll post the running order in the PM I send you.
