While browsing the stack of used mags at the Friends Of Teh Library, I came across this bunch of old, OLD Boys' Life mags. I picked one at random (Dec. 1967, I believe), leafed thru it & this ad jumped out at me. Thought you players might enjoy this blast from the past.

And for you cyclists- $70 for a Stingray!?! Wish I'd bought a dozen back then, I think they're going for around $500 now. :cry:

Money loses about 2% of its nominal value every year.

Or, put another way,

$70 cash invested in a savings account in 1967 with a 4.7% annual rate of return = $504.44 in 2010.

Meanwhile, thank you for taking those pics - that is really cool. I didn't know Vox had tried onboard distortion and effects on electric guitars... I can imagine why they stopped.
