no help to the thread whatsoever, i'm sure...but one of my favorite moments was drunkenly singing along with oasis "champagne supernova" with some locals in a tiny, dank pub...late, late night in clovelly, england.

heh, likewise I can remember being at the Blackbird pub near Earls Court in London, and being astounded that they were playing Dandy Warhols' "13 Tales from Urban Bohemia" on eterna-loop. Seriously, they didn't play any other music the entire time I was there.
