It was my birthday today...yesterday...whatever, it's still dark which means it's still my birthday. I had various martinis...some of them filthy, some of 'em clean. It was a good night.

Ah. Kinda cringeworthy reading this the next day.

Not sure if anyone has ever heard of this before (I hadn't) but I had some Pinot Noir Champagne last night that was freakin great. I'm not too big on the bubbly but this shit was phenomenal.

I totally forgot about brandy old fashions. Maybe I now have an excuse to add brandy to the liquor cabinet.

I know I have had this, and that it was good, but can't remember where.

Yesterday I drank at least a 12er of Bud Light Wheat, and went to be pretty much sober.

Love this stuff.

I was making my way through a 12 pack of Schlafly American Pale Ale, still got 5 left for tonight.

I'm not drinkin' as much as I used to, and now I'm hung over after 7 beers.

It's almost impossible to find in most locations here in Nebraska, but my brother purchased a case of it this weekend while visiting his friend's cabin near the Platte River in Fremont, NE

He gave me two cans since I hadn't tasted it for more than a decade. I wasn't missing the taste, but it would be nice to drink it on occasion due to its dirt cheap price.

Wife and I bought a new van today, and they gave us some cheap bottle of champagne substitute on the way out the door... I wanted to open it during the drive home, but cooler heads prevailed. I'm thinking about cracking it out now.

So I won't be drinking this tonight, but I learned today that you can now find Iron City Beer and IC Light at a liquor store here in Lincoln. I can't wait to buy some of this shit.
