I know. I guess it was a no fanfare release. Certainly no press.

Nice list Saint. Glad to see Desolation and Papercuts make your 20.

Thanks for not reading my list.

Saint, your list is pretty darn good. I'm going to investigate some of those at the top.

I saw that you had that album on your list. I bought it myself a while ago and thought it was a letdown.

fool's gold is getting a lot of attention out here in la. they're about 12 members deep. i saw them first when they opened for cat power. i instantly found myself grooving and loving the music. ok, it sounds retarded, but imagine afrobeat and throw in some hebrew lyrics, lots of percussion, some horns. it's just kind of groovy, fun music. a number of the members of foreign born are in the group.

playlist from the album: http://listen.grooveshark.com/#/playlis ... d/22884354

i dig this stuff. they are great live.

Fool's Gold was top 10 for '09 for me. I'm hoping they come to Coachella this year.

I find it humorous that you and Rads share the same #1 album.

I went w/ Nirvana - Live at Reading.

I need to relisten to the XX. It didn't grab me the first time, and I don't think I listened to it again.
