I like last.fm for the access to my listening history that it provides- which can be interesting in severely misanthropic fashion.

Grooveshark, while slow at peak times, Ive found to have a deeper catalog that some of the similar previous sites. I tend to use it to locate single songs that I come across and would like to hear them - full songs, not previews if they have them. You can also upload content.

I just started to use blip.fm and Im not sure how long the love will last but its integration with social networking etc, may keep interest alive.

Anyone use these or other such services?

I use Last.fm and Blip. Blip is nice if you wanna throw something out there for people on yr twitter feed. I use Last.fm mostly as a logging tool, but also to discover new bands. I've found some good ones based on their recs.

I've also started using Last Pandora, which logs the tracks played on Pandora to your Last.fm acct.

i like lastfm, though it still needs some upgrades to be a little more user-friendly. i've used pandora in the past and liked it too.

I think they're the same thing, because I got the lastpandora.com link off the player on that site. lastpandora.com looks and performs much better imo.

yep, i love last.fm for this very reason. very often i'll skim my library and pick out something to listen to that i haven't in a very long time. it has definitely changed the way i listen to musics.

the social side of it i'm not really huge into. i do like to check out other users that have similar tastes as me and have made a few connections that way, but overall that part is minor.

Songza.com seems decent, but I really like their "sets" page: http://sets.songza.com/

I had never seen that but I just checked with a friend who basically gets his music from me and we are indeed SUPER.

there was some kinda app a while ago that would bring up all your friends at once and tell you your compatibility in a nice neat chart. we did it on here a while ago, but i have no idea how to search anymore.

checked a few ob's and the only "super" were rparis74 and duckyboy. i know it's gone back and forth between "very high" and "super" with thisotherkingdom and Flying Rabbit in the past.

No SUPERs, but Very High with Rparis, which surprised me, and actually made me cry a little- mostly on the inside.

Mine's the same as on here. Couldn't find you though...

"Supers" include:
FT
handfulofdimes

My "very high" friends are:
estone
eaglemaniac
paladisiac
rparis
wenchlette
smafty
timmyjoe
flying rabbit

For everyone else but Toots I'm at least "high" I think. Toots must listen to a lot of reggae or something.
