Ben Sheets signed with the A's for $10m. It sounds like a terrible move but I actually don't think it's a bad gamble for one year.

One-year contracts are a pretty safe bet, but that being said, this is BY FAR the worst one-year contract EVER!

How does that friggin' rag arm merit 10 FUCKING MILLION DOLLARS?!?

it really surprised me when i saw 10mil and sheets because i thought for sure that meant the cubs crapped out that shit contract. good to know that they finally made a wise decision.
