I just added 3 Chicken songs to my page at IAC.

All three tunes are in the running for the one that is to be "The Single".

At various times, I have had different people INSIST to me that one of these three is, in fact, that single. So, of course, I now have no clue.

Can you help me out? Which one should I push to radio and stuff?

Todd, these songs are light years better than the stuff I've heard from you before.

I really like both "Here" and "I'm Pathetic," but I voted for "I'm Pathetic" because it's more single-y. Definitely suitable for airplay.

i voted here, but "i'm pathetic" was my second choice.

i was going to say "come on, let's go" could use backing female vox, but then, there they were... so that's how i voted.

from these three songs, i'm betting this'll be your best album yet. (i think i only have 1 though.) i'm with kingfish -- easily ahead of your prior good stuff.

Both "Here" and "I'm Pathetic" have radio potential, the latter with just a bit more so that's what I voted for.

"Pathetic" is the best song of yours I've ever heard, Togg. Definitely the single. And congrats.

I think they're all great. I was debating between "Here" and "I'm Pathetic" for the vote and with with the latter.

My fave of the three is "Here." It reminds me of the band Sekiden, if you're familiar with them.

I voted for "I'm Pathetic" though, because I think it has the most potential as a single.

"I'm Pathetic" is snoresville. That would be the worst choice for a single.

"Here" is INSTANTLY catchy on many levels, and should be sent out to as many blogs as you possibly can right now. Fucking great tune.

i can't help it that there's a bunch of dolts on here that think some sleep-inducing tune is the single.

if "Here" doesn't sound like an obvious first single to you, then you get the bozack.

Well I think it also depends on who you are trying to attract. I think Im Pathetic is a solid tune, but its a rather straight forward pop tune- a good one, but still somewhat generic.

Im with Dalen on "Here"...

Seems to me the song that actually answers Todd's request is the one that's the good straightforward pop tune.

But that's just me.

No, I hear you. To me, I just don't find it memorable. Its not something that would make me seek out a new artist, I would just pull [insert favorite pop album] off the shelf when I was in the mood. Given radio in 2010, I don't see that tune having a chance to garner recognition for Todd more than 'Here'.

you guys might dig I'm Pathetic, but that tune IS NOT going to gain him much interest at all. People will be like "yeah, cool tune, but i've heard it a million times before, and it doesn't hook me in".

"Here" will make people (especially on the blogosphere where most people get their tunes nowadays) search out his album and want more info on him, and could end up being a fav tune on many of the top indie review sites. yeah, it's that good.

I voted for I'm Pathetic. Here has a nice tune and all, but the high pitched vocals in the verse ruined it for me.
