Liking this Glands album so far.

I think it has a ramshackle Stonesy feel to it. Given they're from Athens, I would have thought it was all-time Gar material for you.

I depend on Derris to keep me informed of stuff like this. And I know he has the album (since it came out I think) but it never made it to the "you have to listen to this and like it" stage.

It definitely has a ramshackle feel, but definitely sounds like indie-rock.

I will probably wear it the fuck out this month.

I found out about the Glands from Jim from the Office tv show. I read an interview with him and he liked a ton of bands I liked. The only band I didn't know that he listed as his favorites was the Glands, which prompted me to check them out.

I am officially addicted to this album. As Krauth and I have said "It hearkens back to a simpler time and heavy drug use." I seriously probably listened to this 15 times on my trip to and from El Paso.

As am I. I've listened to this almost daily for the past 6 weeks.

I fault him for putting In Rainbows above Kid A. I don't know, I loved Kid A, but I listened to In Rainbows like once or twice and got bored of it.

I'm far from a connoisseur of Radiohead's music from this decade but I think I would reach for In Rainbows first if for nothing else just to rock out to "Bodysnatchers"

I'm not going to say In Rainbows is a bad album, but I just wasn't that engaged by it.

Oh, and I understand that Kid A is "the" record for a lot of people because of where it grabbed them in their lives when it came out, but that's never been the case for me. If anything, Ok Computer was and is that record for me since I can still listen to it and be 100% entertained.

Yeah, but OK Computer is from the 90s! It doesn't count! :P

Not playing "When I Laugh"? Reunion fail.

Was good to see Derek Almstead playing bass with them though.
