My favorite is that the news reports where I live said that we'd "get little to no accumulation". As it stands right now with a pretty heavy consistent snowfall, we have about 1.5 inches already. haha

Right now its falling at 2+ inches per hour, and its supposed to keep up at this rate for at least the next 3-4 hours. Pictures coming soon...

It started here around 9:30, but keeps switching to rain / sleet and shit. So there is *zero* accumulation in Cambridge. Just wet roads.

40 mph winds expected here tonight w/ 5-6' snow drifts. I95, I70, and 81 are all shut down. In many towns/cities around here (including Bmore), if you are caught driving on the roads you get a ticket.

We have as much snow as Vail.

Forecast fail.

Just closed because of white-outs and to keep idiots off the road so crews could clean them up. As of this morning, most roads are re-opened. You should be good.

I wish we had snow. Instead, we're having 75 degree weather in the next week. What happened to winter? Oh that's right...there is no such thing in Southern California.

I'm not even sure we got an inch. We've really only had one "good" snow this season, and I was kind of looking forward to a good, big snowstorm. I think we're due for one more before the end of the season, though.

Are you all still alive? Its been kinda quiet around here. This morning Al Roker said there might be door-to-door looting and snuggie stealing, and other more general snowshoe chaos... anyway if you all need any snowmobile tuneup tips, just let me know.

We're up to 10" now and it's STILL coming down. Today SHATTERED the all-time single-day snowfall total in Dallas/Fort Worth history!

And it's nothing more than a mere dusting compared to what DC's gotten the past week.

I highly recommend drinking and driving on snow packed roads. The adrenaline surge couples really great with the buzz.

I wrecked my Camry back in college doing just that. Good times.
