Saturday Night

Played tennis for the first time in several years this evening.

It was fun but the rubber grip on the racket was deteriorating so badly that by the end of the game my right hand was completely black with whatever it is rubber tennis racket handles are made of.

- worked out for the first time in a few days (been extra busy recently)
- made mix CD for my friend Greg
- went out for Indian food in Lakeview
- watched last 2 minutes of the Illinois game
- went to engagement party for my friends Dennis & Colleen at 404 Wine Bar

i watched the second half of the wvu/louisville game, then most of the arizona/illinois game (amazing!). i also watched most of the first season of "arrested development." and i've been trying to code some picture captions. is there no good html code for this?! i've been through everything i know, except for something bizarre that may not even work.

Is it still Saturday night? It's still dark, so I'll say 'yes'!

Just got home from seeing Ash, The Bravery and The Crimea -- fantastic and completely fun show!! Made pals with The Crimea boys who loved the fact I took 'em a cheesecake (long story about that...based on a request / suggestion made from a friend in NYC). Got to meet Ash -- wish they had played a longer set (Bravery, of all people, were tonight's headliners). Charlotte from Ash fuckin' rocks a mean guitar! Went out afterwards to Fred's 62 for a late night munch to celebrate the birthday of one of our friends. Great time had tonight!
