i think i might still have a shot at this thing as long as north carolina beats illinois in the finals. represent the ACC, carolina!

speaking of which, maryland is about to represent the ACC in the NIT vs. TCU in 10 minutes.

on the espn tourney challenge i still have AZ, MI st and UNC alive from my final four. so long as kentucky loses i'll be ok. VaUnion is playing Bryant. i hope that big ben wallace and charles oakley are having a party.

This just in: West Virgina can shoot the trey.

That first half was unbelievable display of offense. I didn't think Louisville had it in them to come back from 20.

They put the fucking clamp down on D that last 6-7 minutes. Fantastic game.

I hope Zona/IL is even half as good.

To think: everyone suggested a Final Four featuring three ACC entrants (UNC, Duke, Wake), plus Illinois.

'Ey, they got Ill. correct. But, they should have meant, chance of three Big Ten teams in the Final Four (Ill., Wisc., Mich. St.), and in an off-year for the Northwest Territory sides, and a Conference USA surprise, again (MU, '03; Louisville, '05).

Guess there must be something in all that come of Krzyzewski that Vitale has been slurping that makes Dickie go mental. To have gotten it so wrong...
