saw Surfer Blood last week, excellent band.

Stupid show on Monday here sold out and I didn't think to get tickets ahead of time. Too bad.

i guess i'm not going to go see them tuesday for the same reason.

I'm going to be honest. ...I avoided checking them out until yesterday (and that ended up sort of being by accident) because of the Dalen hype, but I think I like what I hear, so I guess I'm going to buy the CD.

i mean, i usually hype stuff that (imo) is really, really good. if it's just kind of good, i won't usually comment on it too much.

I just tend to overlook a lot of what you hype because we're not terribly musically compatible. Or, as last.fm would call it "medium". Or, as you might call a play list of mine "boring".
