Loch Vostok.

This is some really good Swedish progressive metal. All kinds of vocals going on, not just the Cookie Monster-type. *whew*

Surfer Blood sounds like a high school garage band trying to play Weezer and failing. I'm not sure what obners, who claim to appreciate "groundbreaking" music, see in this.

if this is your opinion of them, you've never heard the album, because it couldn't be any further off.

and who ever said they were groundbreaking?

As defined by The Natural Harvest cookbook, yes ROG has great taste.

I tell you what, let's just stop trying to discuss music here and make this a fantasy sports board.

If that's your opinion of Surfer Blood, fine.

But the second sentence makes no sense whatsoever.

I appreciate some "groundbreaking" music. I also appreciate some music that's not groundbreaking. Liking one is not mutually exclusive to liking the other. I like this album (but don't love it), groundbreaking or not.
