Sorry indeed.

What's a lefty like you doing shelling out for leftover swag from the Gap sweatshops?

Didn't realize that. I'll stay away from them for now and read up on it.

Stop ruining the environment by feeding the corporate sharks.

You should make your own clothes out of hemp.

So how exactly was the old navy different than the new navy and how does that translate to a clothing empire?

Old Navy commercials are dis-tur-bing, like that X-Files episode where the guy psychically created Brady World all around him.

Old Navy clothes are terrible. They fall apart. They look cheap b/c they are cheap.

I totally disagree. I've had T-shirts from Old Navy last me longer than Banana Republic and Eddie Bauer.

Old Navy is not as bad as some make it out to be.

That's actually one of the major reasons why I shopped at Old Navy. Their shirts are the best.

I hate shopping for clothes altogether. I just wear stuff until it's threadbare and my girlfriend can't stand it anymore so she'll buy me something new.

They're known in the industry for having some of the most disposable stuff you can buy, hence the low-low prices. They're a glorified Big Lots. But you know, sometimes you get something that lasts, and that's cool. But overall, they're mostly just cheaply-made trendy stuff.

My only serious gripe is the commercials. Those are absolutely unforgiveable, and I consider shopping there a vote for continuing them, thus I will never shop there as long as they keep it up.
