ALBUM RELEASE UPDATE
autolux is just now,
just now, and finally in the process of negotiating with record labels. there was some talk about autolux putting Transit Transit
out themselves for awhile - just so it could be out there for human consumption (at any cost). but after all this time, the band felt
it needed proper marketing and distribution since Future Perfect never had much support behind it. the band hopes to have
the business end solidified before everyone breaks for the holidays. as soon as this happens, the label/labels that the band
are talking to have promised to immediately decide on a release date. autolux are as (if not more) tired and frusterated as their
fans are of not having a record out sooner. we will let everyone know what's going on as things progress over the next couple of
weeks - which will also include the label that will be putting out Transit Transit.
as soon as there is a release date, you will be the first to know.
UNKLE
autolux has teamed up with James Lavelle and Pablo Clements (of Psychonauts) on a song for the new UNKLE record.
not too much information to tell as of yet, except for:
1. the name of the song = Joy Factory.
2. it's a dance song, and very unlike anything autolux has done before.
3. the album is being mixed right now by Steve Dub in england.
