I haven't listened to it yet, but am I correct in assuming this is not a KISS cover?

Don't ever accuse me of listening to boring or predictable music again, shit-for brains.

That's not terrible, it's just boring and predictable. Sorry dude.

I did finally get around to listening to the Morning Benders today though and really liked it. Good in headphones.

Was that set at a crappy bitrate, or how they intended it to sound?

And that could be the worst video ever.

definitely a standout track on the album. nothing remarkable but it's nicely crafted with a good hook.
have any of you ever heard anything crisp off youtube? either you aren't serious, or you can't be serious.

hmmm less of a youtube fanboy forgot to press the "crisp' button" and more of a engineer forgot to press the "not shit" button.

While I don't agree with the premise of the thread...at least give the track a chance.

Dale, especially when they are offering the track from the band's website might as well stream a good copy

well that sounds somewhat better acoustically, esp in the lower end - but sweet jeebus the compression ....

i agree it's way too compressed. one of my biggest issues with a lot of music nowadays. let's make it LOUD, while sacrificing detail and clarity.

Totally, and that's been in vogue for awhile now.

yeah its not unique to this song, thats for sure. There are a couple of good articles/videos on the overuse of compression etc. I think under "The Loudness War" or something.. pretty informative. But, a lot of people have only really been listening to music during this period, so dont really have much as a reference point.

I love this song and don't really care what a picture of it looks like.
