My parents took me to Zydeco Festivals and Ernie K-Do shows when I was around 10. Can't remember which was first.

My first show was Molly Hatchett as well, they were opening for the Outlaws right after Flirtin' with Disaster. Sprinfield Ma. Civic Center. I was 14 or 15.

with my dad: huey lewis & the news/the neville brothers @ merriweather post pavillion. must've been 12 or 13.

with friends: inspiral carpets @ 9:30 club. 17 years old. got completely lost trying to find it (i think we were cruising florida ave in SE at some point). got sent home from school the next day for wearing my concert t-shirt to school. good times.

The opening of the concert and the amount of people, scared the shit out of me.
