According to the BBC...

I read the news in the morning which apparently makes me more informed than 'most people' on Facebook.

"Executive Orders aren't always enforceable as law, and can be repealed" is the argument they are giving.

this is a really funny and interesting issue going on in your country over there. I mean, there are on the one hand those sceptics or true opponents of a health care bill with the argument of personal freedom, which sounds pretty strange here but, okay, I can get that. why not.
what I find very irritating is the argument of the increased deficit. in europe everybody (really everybody) would say that public health care is nothing more than a common part of modern organisation of society so the costs are always part of the discussion but not public health care in general. how long will that take to convince every single us american of that policy? 100 years? that's totally not meant as an insult, I find that truely interesting.
