Which is odd, because I've never met a person who actually owns a physical copy of one of their albums, or has come up to me and said, "You really need to listen to this Cocorosie album".

Also I must confess that I have seen them live, when they opened for Bright Eyes in Omaha in 2004.

I've never listened to them but my impression at least here is that they are sort of a fashion item. it's meant as a statement when you listen to them. maybe because these costumers think cocorosie is very underground.
