I would see them in a heartbeat. Basically because I never got to see them back in the day.

Even if they're a pale shadow, I'd go.

Didn't, but a workmate did. Enjoyed himself and said they played a lot of old stuff.

I suppose it's not "recently" anymore, but I saw them back in 1996 (97?).
They were amazing.
The "new" rhythm section (now 15-years on) was dead-on and the old songs hold up, as did the voices singing them. At the time, they were still writing great songs that held up very well against the old classics. I've only heard one song off the new record, but I liked it, damnit!

In short... GO.

Yep, although the fact that Pete Shelley is bald as a coot now is slightly disconcerting.

So...I just saw this scheduled event at the Ottobar in Baltimore

Quote:
BUZZCOCKS (Playing their FIRST 2 ALBUMS IN ENTIRETY!)
with guests THE DOLLYROTS

Whaaaaaaaa? Didn't know they were touring and doing this. That's pretty incredible. Tickets are $20. I don't see how I can't do this.

*edit* though considering what era yr talking about, it is only 2 of the members from those albums--Shelley and Diggle.

BTW here are the other dates:

Even that considered, I don't see how you can't go to that.

If it's $50. Fuck. That.
Kudos to those that can find the guts to shell out that shit.
