sometime this week they'll have a remote with triumph at bonnaroo. that has some potential.

Triumph to TV on The Radio:
"How would you describe your music? And keep in mind that "crap" is taken by the Decemberists!"

I've been watching semi-regularly, generally taping a few shows on the week and watching them on the weekend. Maybe it's just me, but I'm noticing more Carsonisms in Conan's delivery. Hands are in the pocket more and even the cadence as he delivers a punchline has a slight inflection towards JC.

totally some carsonisms in there. i have the tivo set to hold two shows at a time so i usually watch the monologue and the sketch after the break and then shut it off before the interviews unless it's someone interesting.

Larry David was pretty good..."why would I want to have social interaction in front of millions of people?"

I'm looking forward to that Woody Allen movie.

I love that he referred to the beastie boys as a living Pep Boys logo

since the whole late shift part 2 was in a random thread, i figured i'd revive this one...

ok, i don't get this deal with tbs. first, it seems hypocritical since george lopez (apparently voluntary) is moving his show to accommodate conan. second, if conan was going to go to cable, why not just go all the way to hbo or showtime? but i am kinda looking forward to this. just shocked that fox couldn't convince its non-owned affiliates to drop "seinfeld" repeats.

It made sense to me once I heard that they would lose money compared to Simpsons and Seinfeld repeats. That seems to be all affiliates care about - as we all heard when the NBC affiliates were complaining about having bad lead-ins from the Jay Leno Show into their local news.
