Listening to the new Josh Ritter now. It's good... but it's definitely not as immediate as his last two were for me.

Edit: Tracks 8 and 9 are excellent, though

I'm calling it a 2010 release. It was sold as a digital only release last year, and my CD says copyright 2010 on the back. So there.

It still works, Bob. Are you changing the 'hxxp' back to 'http'?

Had I been home any amount of time recently, I'd have upped that. Better than his last one or 2, but there's a couple pretty fluffy songs scattered in it. And even what classic Parker venom there is seems to be wrapped in nougat. I like it, but I wanted more.

I dunno, the new Hold Steady is hitting the spot right on a sunny Sunday afternoon with a glass of Crown Royal Black on the rocks.

i can tell the songs are mostly good, but the sound quality is mediocre at best, due to the vinyl rip

looking forward to the full-quality digital version

Could I be the guy that asks for a re-up of the LCD? Yes, that guy.
