While entering the elevator with my assistant yesterday, there was a cute young male already inside. The following conversation occurred:

Me: "Hey...hi!" (feeling quite pervy)
Sweet Young Thing: "Hi!"
Me: "No offense, but you look like Matt Smith -- the new actor portraying 'Dr Who'"
Sweet Young Thing: "No offense, but I don't know who that is."
Me: "Are you familiar with the programme, 'Dr Who'?" (now thinking...how in the hell does he not know who Dr Who is)
Sweet Not So Bright Thing: "I've never heard of it."
Me: "Ohh...okay. It's a long running sci-fi show. No big deal."

Janice and I walk out of the elevator, wait for the door to close.

Me: "I bet he's never seen a cassette tape either."

Maybe he was Amish.

Because this is the worst possible thing that could happen to someone.

You know you've hit rock bottom when are adding to your bank of knowledge rather than spending time with the most irritating and pathetic generation of evolution's greatest mistake.

Hey, now, I didn't say it was a bad thing, D! I've been enjoying my 'alone time'.

I know. I'm joking.

Kind of.

It's good to see you back, Tania. Sorry to hear about your rough spell, but I am happy to see your name back in the left-hand column.
I missed you.

Heya T! Facebookage has sorta diluted the effect of you not being here. I feel like I hear from you, I just forget where. Either way:
